Branson Police Release Info on Shooting Incident

BRANSON, Mo. – The man killed in an officer-involved shooting near Big Bear Resort in Taney County early Friday morning may have been involved in a pursuit with Branson Police on Wednesday.
According to a news release from the City of Branson, police made contact with four individuals at the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area on Fall Creek Road at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday. During that time, one man fled on foot and the others fled the scene in two different vehicles.
