200 Acres Burn Near Branson For Good Cause

BRANSON, Mo. — Every five years or so, the Missouri Conservation Department plans a fire. It’s done under the exact right conditions with the intent of revitalizing native grasses and wildlife.KOLR10 crews rode along yesterday with Francis Skalicky to see 200 acres burn at Henning Conservation Area near Branson.Glades make up about 365 acres of the total 1,500 acres within the Henning area.  Skalicky says the areas green up quickly with new vegetation following the burns.
