BRANSON MO NEWS:

NIXA, Mo. — The Harrison Goblins cross country team ran in Missouri on Tuesday afternoon.Fighting warm temperatures and 15 teams, the Goblins finished 10th overall. There were 117 runners in the race.Branson, Mo. won the race with 31 points. Host Nixa, Mo. was second with 45; Ozark, Mo. third, 139; Springfield (Mo.) Catholic, fourth, 153; and fifth Monett, Mo., 214.

Harrison finished with 256 points.Leading the Harrison charge was Hunter Thompson. He was 12th overall in the race. He ran the course in 18:23.68.Gavin Cantrell was 52nd in 20:54.40. Nicholas Dillon was 68th in 21:39.43; Jayden Reynolds, 86th, 22:36.29; Josh McCormick, 88th, 22:37.87; Wagner Huntley, 93rd, 22:55.69; and Dalton Adams, 117th, 26:46.87.
Harrison has two weeks off before running in Branson, Mo. on Oct. 2.
