Foundation allows Hi-Rise residents to visit show

Pierce Arrow, who are well known for their various types of music including gospel and country, performed for three sold-out shows along with comedian James Sublet who joined the group bringing the crowd to its feet.
Through the generosity of the Greene County Foundation, six residents of the Bloomfield Hi-Rise were presented tickets to the show given by the Foundation by Hi-Rise office manager Melissa Blake. Those attending were: Geena Secoy Cynthia Kelley, Nick Graves, Thomas Gillispie, Mark Craig and David Kelley, Jr. All concluded that the show was funny and put a smile on their faces. The six thanked the Foundation for their generosity which allowed them to attend the concert.
The Greene County Foundation, which was founded in 1997, has since donated over $12 million dollars to county philanthropic organizations and communities. Their mission is to inspire Greene County citizens to make their county strong for the future. Their core values are stewardship, accountability, leadership, credibility, community and philanthropy.
