Jarretts Observe 60th Anniversary
BRANSON MO NEWS: Lonnie Jarrett and Mary Frances Dodson(Photo: Courtesy Photo)Lonnie Jarrett and Mary Frances Dodson met at West Texas State University, now West Texas A&M, in Canyon, Texas. They were married in the chapel on the university campus March 7, 1957.Lonnie taught in high schools in Texas and Clovis before moving the family to Alamogordo in 1968 where he taught English, communications, and theatre at New Mexico State University-Alamogordo. Fran began working in the college library in 1973. Both retired in 1998.The couple celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children and spouses, Kerry and Debbie Jarrett and Kim and Ron Grisak.
