BRANSON MO NEWS: Graveside services for Stanley A. Jones, 78, of Forsyth, will be held Jan. 5, 2018, at 12 noon at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.He died Dec. 21, 2017.

Stanley was born June 28, 1939, in Hollister, son of Bernard and Frances Jones. He was a longtime resident of Taney County and was a musician and had worked many other jobs in his lifetime. He was an U.S. Coast Guard Veteran.He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Linda Mae, Gloria Rudd, and Dixie; brothers Jimmy Jones, Steven Jones and David Gloyd; son Dennis Jones; and a granddaughter.

Survivors include his wife Joyce Miller Jones, of the home; children Donald Jones and wife Theresa, of Springfield, Stanley Jones II and wife Monique, of Forsyth, Vincent Jones and wife Jennifer, of Neb., Travis Jones and wife Beth, of Hollister, Rhonda Jones and Jamie Roop, of Ozark, Valerie Holek and husband Gerald, of Republic, Sherri Cordell and husband Errol, of Forsyth, Debbe Stich, of Raymore, and Tina McCormick and husband David, of Plano, Texas; brother Danny P.
